100 mile walk in June in aid of Cancer Research

For the past few years my children have accompanied me on various charity events, locally and afar, on behalf of Powder Grey.

Every year I choose a main charity(s)/organization which I will support. In the past it has been Radio Borders Cash for Kids, Princess Trust Scotland - Lunch with an Old Bag, My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, Lauderdale Choir, Lauderdale Scout Group, Lauder Primary School, Sponsored David Cass book ‘Perimetri Perduti’ and other local and afar people/events, to name but a few.

The events have included completing the Edinburgh half marathon, a cycle ride from Carlisle - Cramond in Edinburgh (100 miles), running from Edinburgh Castle to Thirlestane Castle (Lauder) and the home of Scottish rugby Murrayfield stadium in Edinburgh to Melrose rugby club at the Greenyards.

This year M (13yr old daughter Emma) and myself will be undertaking the 100 mile walk in June in aid of Cancer Research where we are hoping to raise over £100.
