Crazy for Cushions

Cushions, cushions, don't know about you but sometimes I cant get enough of them. May they be large, small or bolster type they can change the look of a room at a minimal cost. Whether you match them to your existing curtains,blinds,seating area or a hue from the flooring to compliment your existing look, they are a great source for a quick mini makeover.

Symbols numbers or even letters I simply love them when using around the house, the cross especially. Its such a strong shape, symbol or what any other description you may see it as, I have always liked it since a child. Maybe it all started when I used to go to Sunday school and I was fascinated with my gorgeous white Bible that had a silver cross on it, who knows. But I can never seem to get enough either it be on walls, soft furnishings, clothes, buildings or jewellery to me it always looks great...

Man its Friday..

We talk of interiors and sometimes I feel when it comes up in conversation its a girls world to some. Not the case I hasten to add. I still can look at images of what you would call masculine and think wow love that. You know have the right building ie warehouse, the car or bike looks great indoors as they do up your drive. So I thought I would post this,from my masculine side.
 I once had an old classic car and looking at the relic of the Ferrari I can almost smell it. There is something special about the smell and sound I use to think of my classic, aah.. maybe one day Ill treat myself to another.

Indoor gardening ...

Its been so wet these days I haven't been able to get into the garden to put my new plants in. Never mind Ill do some indoors. I love a bit of greenery inside, makes a great accessory or finish to a room don't you think..

Hallways

May it be Spacious narrow or busy, no matter what size or shape the Hallway is its just as important as any other area in the house. It often gets neglected or forgotten considering its the first focal point you see when entering a home. So have a look at your Hallway what does it tell about you or the rest of your home. Let it be inviting and practical or if you have room/space to put away the paraphernalia let it be a feature. Most of all have fun playing around with ideas and looks..

One for Monday

I am always torn between these two looks. I love the raw vintage industrial feel of image one yet the Grey's capture me in the smoothness of image two. I suppose that's why POWDER GREY is what it is, a mix of old and new. Out of interest tho which one would you go for..

When I discovered this bit of paradise I thought WOW. Just everything about the L'ile Aux Oiseaux suite made me hungry for more. Les Sources de Caudalie - Hotel near Bordeaux is where you'll find this cabin on stilts. Looking from the outside picture I did not expect to find this beautiful interior of white, black and grey on the inside.
